ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1970s or 1980s pilot hat badge for the Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). The badge is a wreathed wing bearing three crowned shields, each representing a flag from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. SAS is now known as Scandinavian Airlines.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970s-1980s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 4-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops with pins, two brads.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJM12 LIEX8/13 SIEX9/13

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows only light wear.
