This is a circa 1980s pilot hat badge for DLH (Deutsche Lufthansa), a German airline in operation since 1955, The badge is embroidered in bullion and shows a golden crane in flight at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 4-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in bullion threads, treated cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto Uniform Cap.
MARKINGS:None.
