ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1980s pilot hat badge for DLH (Deutsche Lufthansa), a German airline in operation since 1955, The badge is embroidered in bullion and shows a golden crane in flight at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 4-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in bullion threads, treated cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Uniform Cap.

MARKINGS: None.
