This is a circa 1970 jacket patch for the United States Air Force 612th Tactical Fighter Squadron (612th TFS). The squadron served in South Vietnam just after this patch came out, in 1971, and then was re-deployed to NATO. The fully embroidered patch is Japanese-made and features an eagle clutching a red missile.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970.
SIZE:Approximately 3-7/8" in height and 3" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered cotton/polyester threads.
