ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 27th Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as the "Fighting Eagles". The 27th was stationed both at MacDill AFB, Florida and Langley AFB, Virginia during the 1970s. The patch is embroidered upon twill and shows a "Fighting Eagle" against the sun at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, partial mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
