ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 94th Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as the "Hat in the Ring". The 94th was stationed at Langley AFB, Virginia in the late 1970s. The patch is embroidered upon twill and shows the hat in the ring insignia.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, treated backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force Tactical Fighter Squadron jacket patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX13 LCCX10/13 SCCX9/18

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch has very little wear with one small somewhat oxidized staple hole near the bottom.
