ARTIFACT:

Circa 1968 large, iconic United States Navy Naval Advisory Group, Vietnam Japanese-made pocket patch. The center of the patch displays the colors of the South Vietnamese flag with white crossed anchors and sprigs of leaves. Across the top, a blue band reads: "NAVAL ADVISORY GROUP" with seven white five pointed stars above and the bottom of the pocket patch reads: "VIETNAM".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Embroidered twill, cotton/polyester/silk threads, muslin backing
