This is a circa 1950s Japanese-made US Navy Air Task Group 1 patch. The patch shows a number 1 with wings launching off from a red star.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:About 3-5/8" in width by 5-1/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered with cotton/poly/silk embroidery thread.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
