Early 1950s Japanese-Made USN VP-50 (Patrol Squadron 50) Jacket Patch

This is an early 1950s Japanese-made jacket patch for the United States Navy VP-50 patrol squadron. The patch shows a winged dragon with a wolf's head flying above a surfaced submarine.

Circa early 1950s.

4-7/8" diameter.

Fully embroidered cotton patch.
