This is a circa 1967 United States Navy small jacket or baseball cap patch for the USS Canberra CAG-2 (Guided Missile Heavy Cruiser 2). The patch was Okinawan-made during the ship's Vietnam cruise. The bright white embroidered patch shows a kangaroo and a lightning bolt at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1967.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester thread, vinylized mesh backing.
