Circa 1965 USS Hooper DE-1026 Ship Lighter by Konwal Japan

This is a circa 1965 United States Navy ship lighter for the USS Hooper DE-102A destroyer escort, the Hooper was launched August 1 , 195The lighter was made in Japan by Konwal. It has an applied enameled insignia on the front that reads Sans Peur (Without fear). It is in excellent condition.

Circa 1965.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width, and 1/2" in thickness.

Chrome-plated brass, enamel.

Hinge.

Konwal Super 7 Japan.
