Circa 1920 102nd Observation Squadron Sterling DI/Aero Squadron Badge

This is a squadron badge used late in the US Air Service period and in the early US Air Corps period by the 102nd Observation Squadron on the New York National Guard.

Circa early 1920s.

2 in length by about 7/8" in height.

Sterling Silver.

Pin-back with an early drop-in catch.

The Dieges & Clust logo and "Sterling".

This beautiful badge is sought after by both DI collectors as a wonderful example of an early sterling DI and by collectors of Aero squadron badges, this being one of the last examples of them. (CON-JMB-VIEJX-06)(RABJJX07)
