Circa 1919-1921 US Air Service Balloon School Souvenir Pillowcase

This is a circa 1919-1921 United States Air Service Balloon School souvenir pillowcase wrapped in plastic and mounted on foam board. The case is square with a fringed border. It reads BROOKS FIELD in multi-colored embroidery and shows a balloon at center.

Approximately 26" x 27" (framed).

Silk case embroidered in cotton/silk thread, cellophane, foam board.

This pillowcase is shrink-wrapped to a piece of foam board and will be shipped unwrapped and folded without the foam board unless arrangements are made for pick-up or special shipping to preserve the shrink wrap mounting.
