ARTIFACT: This is a very rare circa 1919-1920 United States Air Service pilot wing in a massive construction. The wing is in unmarked silver and has a rarely used "half-cock" locking catch.

VINTAGE: Circa 1919-1920.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver (unmarked).

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "half-cock" locking catch.

MARKINGS: None (unmarked silver).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a post-World War I United States Air Service pilot wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRAJEX13 LABEJX4/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing has some light wear and tarnish.
