ARTIFACT:

This is a remarkable example of a early 1919-1920 United States Air Service Pilot wing produced in unmarked sterling silver. This wing also has an unusually large pin back.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1919-1920.

SIZE:

3" wide by 7/8" high.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with a "drop-in" locking catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
