This is a classic circa 1910 "stock" special deputy sheriff five-point star badge made by an Omaha, Nebraska maker.

Circa 1910.

2-3/16" height and 2-3/16" width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical safety-style pin with "C" catch.
