ARTIFACT: This is a great Old West 1900's - 1910's Special Deputy Sheriff Posse 5 pointed star badge. This badge has an amazing Omaha maker mark on its reverse. The badges wear carries a sort of charm to it due to its age and condition.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900's - 1910's.

SIZE: About 2-1/8" x 2-1/8.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Die Stamped Nickel with Nickel Plated Nickel wire pin.

ATTACHMENT: One-piece vertical safety type pin with open wire "C" catch.

MARKINGS: SPECIAL DEPUTY SHERIFF. J.P. COOKE CO. MFR.'S OMAHA.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): There is light wear on this badge, and the patina is exquisite, giving it a very charming look due to its age.
