This is a circa 1900 Charleston, South Carolina Fire Department badge. The badge shows a fireman's hat at top and was numbered 5, although the number is now missing.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:2" height and 1-3/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.

CONDITION:6- (Fine): Badge is sold as is: number is missing. Moderate wear and spots of tarnish.
