ARTIFACT: This is a Boston, Massachusetts Fire Department retirement badge from the 1900s-1910s. The badge is nicely decorated, shows a cityscape of Boston at center and reads BOSTON F. D. R. I. S.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900's-1910's.

SIZE: 2-3/8" height and 1-5/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with black enameled lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A .
