This is a circa 1900 Boston globe newspaper reporter badge, and was possibly a "Fire Lines" badge, which functioned as a press pass at fire scenes. The badge is numbered 92 and shows the City Seal at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in width and 2-3/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin (catch is missing).
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:6 (Fine+): The pin badge has medium wear/tarnish and the catch is not present.
