This is a circa 1890s Cambridge, Massachusetts Fire Department badge. The name and address of the badge's original owner are scratched on its reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/8" in height and 1-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:W. I. STUART 12 RESERVOIR ST. CAMBRIDGE.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The badge shows some small spots of light to medium wear and tarnish.
