This is a circa 1890s Far Hills, New Jersey constable badge. The badge is shield-shaped and reads CONSTABLE FAR HILLS with some scrollwork detailing.

Circa 1890s.

2-3/16" height and 1-7/8" width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical safety-style pin with "C" catch.
