This is a circa 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 68th Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as the "Lightning Lancers". After being stationed in South Korea, the 68th was relocated to the Philippines in 1973 as an F-4E squadron. The patch is fully embroidered and shows a knight standing between two thunderbolts.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
