Circa 1943 United States Army Air Forces 345th Bomb Group, 5th Air Force "Air Apaches" US-made jacket patch. The center shows the profile of an Apache Indian Chief with an embroidered feathered headdress and beneath reads: "AIR APACHES" in white lettering.
Approximately 4-1/2" x 5"
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Embroidered wool felt, silk/cotton/polyester thread, gauze backing
