This is a very nice United States Army Air Forces 345th Bomb Group, 5th Air Force "Air Apaches" Australian-made patch. The patch shows the profile of an Apache Indian at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 5" in width by 4-1/2" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidery thread on wool felt.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:None.
