ARTIFACT: This is a 1910 dated medal for the 50th anniversary celebration of the 6. Rheinischen Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 68 (6th Rhenish Infantry Regiment No. 68) of the Prussian Army. The 6th came under the 30th Infantry Brigade, 15th Division, VIII Army Corps. The front of the medal shows the bust of Kaiser Wilhem II, German Emperor.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension ring.

MARKINGS: Hard-to-read words, probably artist name, by bust on front of medal (?? Nuernberg); 4 JULI 1910 (July 4, 1910) on reverse of medal.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The medal shows light wear and has a medium tarnish.
