1904 US Express Company 50th Anniversary Commemorative Medal

This is a 1904 United States Express Company commemorative medal for the company's 50th anniversary. The medal is round and reads UNITED STATES EXPRESS CO. 1854 SECURITY DISPATCH TRADE MARK and shows a winged chest flying beneath a horseshoe. The reverse reads IN COMMEMORATION OF THE FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE UNITED STATES EXPRESS COMPANY 1854-1904.
