This is a circa 1900 Railroad mail handler badge from Chicago Union Station, which was a large, independent mail handling center in Chicago. The badge reads C.U.S. 1589 MAIL.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Pinback is broken.
