ARTIFACT:
This is an unidentified United States Army Air Forces/Air Force squadron or group patch. The patch likely dates between World War II and the Korean War as I have seen it on an A-2 jacket. It may possibly have something to do with the Strategic Air Command's Green Pine Network of Loring Air Force Base, Maine. The patch shows a gauntlet clutching three lightning bolts and there is a border of pine trees along the top of the crest.

Circa World War II - Korean War.
SIZE:
Approximately 4-7/8" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Wool felt embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, mesh backing.
