ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified World War II United States Army Air Forces Bomb Squadron patch, perhaps for a squadron in the 387th Bomb Group. The patch has great coloring and shows a pelican happily dispensing bombs from his beak.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted canvas embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch shows minor fading only with one very small ink mark on reverse.
