BEING RESEARCHED - WWII Japanese (?) Hat Badge - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified hat badge from World War II, possibly Japanese. The badge shows a three-dimensional gold star at the center flanked by two branches.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

White metal with painted details.

Two small holes.

None.

The badge you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAJX11 LX10/11
