This is an unidentified hat badge, probably from a Middle Eastern country, possibly Iraq. The badge shows a very detailed eagle above a star encircled by a crescent moon.
VINTAGE:Circa unknown.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in width and 1-9/16" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Lacquered brass.
ATTACHMENT:None - it appears there once was a screw that broke away.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAJX12 LX12/12
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows very light wear only and fastener is broken.
