ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified sterling silver pin from the 1940s or 1950s, perhaps for an aviation company. The pin is by Balfour and shows a left-facing horse with very Deco wings on a bar.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s-1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/16" in height and 1-¾" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING LGB (Balfour).
ITEM NOTES:This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAJX11 LX11/11
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has some light abrasions and tarnish.
