Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified belt buckle, and might possibly be an extremely rare French Colonial Troops officer buckle from World War I. The buckle's outer ring is a leafy wreath and the inner circle shows an anchor at center.

VINTAGE:

Possibly circa World War I.

SIZE:

2-1/8" height and 3-9/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Possibly lacquered brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Interlocking belt buckle.

MARKINGS:

PULLMAN PARIS (twice) .
