ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified sterling silver badge with a great design heraldic lion design. It could possibly be French in origin and may be for a military group or squadron.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I - 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

STERLING.
