ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified Munich Police hat or lanyard badge probably dating to sometime right after World War II. The badge is enameled and reads POLIZEI above a robed figure holding a book.

VINTAGE: Circa post-World War II (?).

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two prongs with saddle.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VBJX14 LX1/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has only light wear and tarnish.
