ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful but unidentified aviation badge or wing from somewhere in Europe, possibly Italy or an Eastern European country. The badge may date to World War II, and shows an eagle against a circle embroidered in gold bullion with sequins embellishing the wings.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II(?).
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 2-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in bullion/silk threads, sequins, cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
