This is an unidentified jacket patch, possibly for aviation patrol. At center is a patrol member surfing on a lightning bolt. This patch came to us with an unidentified jacket patch for "American Air Reserve Long Beach" (please see link at bottom of page for more information).
VINTAGE:Circa late 1930s-early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-15/16" in height and 3-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAEJX14 LX6/14
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The patch has very little wear.
