Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified jacket patch, possibly for aviation patrol. At center is a patrol member surfing on a lightning bolt. This patch came to us with an unidentified jacket patch for "American Air Reserve Long Beach" (please see link at bottom of page for more information).

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1930s-early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-15/16" in height and 3-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.

None.

MARKINGS:

None.
