BEING RESEARCHED - Unidentified French(?) "PTT" Postal Hat Badge - NOT FOR SALE TIL IDed

This is a postal hat badge of unknown vintage and possibly French origin. It is a wreath of laurels with the letters PTT at center, which probably stand for Postes, Télégraphes et Téléphones (Postal, Telegraph and Telephone), a French government department established in 1921.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

Gilt brass.

Two screw posts.
