BEING RESEARCHED Cool 1930s-40s "B" Bee Patch USAC USN Flight School? College? NOT FOR SALE til IDed

This is a cool but unidentified patch dating to the 1930s or 1940s. It is a large red "B" with a cartoon B in front of it wearing boxing gloves. His wings are in a neat basketweave stitch different from the embroidery on the letter B. This could possibly be for a United States Navy or United States Air Corps flight school, or even for a university or college team.

Circa 1930s-1940s.

Approximately 5-1/8" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
