ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified jacket patch that reads American Air Reserve Long Beach, presumably for the group's Squadron XI. At center is a seahorse in pilot garb. This patch came to us with an unidentified jacket patch, possibly for aviation patrol (please see link at bottom of page for more information).

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s-early World War II

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/8" in height and 4-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.



ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAEJX14 LX6/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch has little wear and some minor paper residue on the reverse.
