Description
Beautiful WWII US Army 40th Division fully embroidered shoulder patch. The center of the diamond shaped, English-made patch shows a yellow sun against a blue background with an olive drab border. During WWII, the 40th Division was stationed in New Britain and moved through the Pacific Theater of Operations. The 40th received three Distinguished Unit Citations.
