Beautiful WWI USAS Wing in Meyer & Wenthe of Chicago Style

This is a beautiful World War I United States Air Service pilot wing in the Meyer & Wenthe of Chicago style. The wing is in sterling silver and the US applied to the shield is in 14 karat gold.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 5/8" in height and 2-15/16" in width.

Sterling silver with 14 karat gold.

Horizontal pin with Tiffany-style locking catch (locking mechanism is damaged).
