ARTIFACT:

Beautiful WWI ??? 1920's United States Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Hat Badge. Badge is a silver plated bronze US shield over a gilt brass anchor with nice detail.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWI ??? 1920's

SIZE:

Approximately 1 ??" x 1 1/8"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver plated bronze and gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come under 'C' catch.

8 (Excellent-) Badge shows minor to moderate wear mostly to high points, much of the plating details remain intact.
