ARTIFACT: Scarce 1920's United States Coast Guard Officer hat badge in gilt and silvered cast bronze with no maker's mark. The badge is a large eagle perched upon an anchor, its chest bearing the US shield with nicely detailed stars and stripes.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" in height x 2-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt, silvered, cast bronze.

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback and stabilizer pins.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USCG collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX16 LBDEX6/16 SBDEX09/20

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows moderate wear, much of the gilt and silvered details remain intact.
