Extremely Rare WWI US Coast Guard Officer Hat Badge in Gilt Sterling by Robbins

This is an extremely rare sterling silver United States Coast Guard officer cap badge by Robbins. The badge shows an eagle and a shield perched upon a sideways anchor.

Circa World War I.

2-1/2" height and 2-13/16" width.

Gold-plated sterling silver.

Single screw post with disc backing and two stabilizer pins.

STERLING and three small marks.
