ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful sterling silver World War II United States Navy Air Crew wing by Meyer. The wing has a brass anchor medallion at its center and a banner bearing three brass stars at its top.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 2" in width by 7/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver with plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with a "come-under" locking catch.

MARKINGS:

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK followed by Meyer's maker's mark and: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:
