Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a rare small shirt-size World War II US Navy Air Crew wing by Meyer. The wing has a brass anchor medallion at its center and a banner bearing three brass stars at its top.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 1-3/8" in length by 9/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver and plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with a "come-under" locking catch.

MARKINGS:

STERLING and Meyer's maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES:
