Beautiful and scarce WWII United States Public Health Service Official overseas cap hat badge by Vanguard in New York. The 10K gold-fill on sterling badge features a standing eagle, wings spread and facing the viewer's left. The eagle stands perched upon a US Shield with 13 stars, behind which shows a crossed anchor and caduceus.
