Beautiful WWII USN Officer Overseas Cap Badge by Balfour

Beautiful WWII United States Navy Officer overseas cap badge in sterling and 10K gold fill by Balfour. The cap badge is an eagle, wings spread, and standing atop a US Shield with crossed anchors behind. The reverse of the multi-piece riveted badge reads: "BALFOUR STERLING", "BALFOUR 1/20 10K G.F."

Circa WWII.

Approximately 1" in height x 1" in width.

Sterling, 10K gold-filled, multi-piece riveted construction.

Horizontal pin with come under locking catch.
