Beautiful WWII US Merchant Marine Overseas Cap Badge in Sterling by Vanguard

This is a beautiful sterling silver World War II United States Merchant Marine overseas cap badge by Vanguard. The badge is an eagle atop a crest bearing an anchor, with all wreathed in branches.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

Gold-filled sterling silver and sterling silver.

Horizontal pin with a come-under locking swivel catch.
